Maraqi al-Su'ud is a well-known manzumah on usul al-fiqh composed by the Mauritanian 'alim Abdullah b. Ibrahim al-Shinqiti (d. 1233 AH). This foundational work presents usul al-fiqh according to the Maliki madhhab in poetic verse, and remains a central text in traditional Islamic curricula throughout West Africa and Mauritania.
